I had a very bad sales experience in the Clearwater mall branch of Mica Mineral Makeup.
According to our consumer protection act - customer right act number 6 it actually stipulates that suppliers are not permitted to use physical force against customers. Coercion, undue influence, pressure and duress, harassment, unfair tactics or any other similar conduct when doing the following:
- Marketing of good and services
- Supply goods or services...
Suppliers are not permitted to use exaggeration, innuendo or ambiguity when referring to goods or services or the benefit thereof.
In my sales experience with Mica Mineral Makeup they actually break all of the above mentioned rules. They coerce and put undue pressure onto you to make the sale. I have told the sales representative that I don't have time not the inclination to actually buy the product but he keeps on going with the sales pitch.
It was the worse sales experience in my life and I feel cheated in the sales process. This is against our customer protection act.
The sales representative also told me that the product is organic. There are no certified organic emblem on the product.
