I purchased a voucher from Groupon for Exotic Car Wash at the V & A Waterfront a few weeks back with the intention of using it during the December period. Also bearing in mind that it has an expiry date for 8 December 2013 attached to it and requires advance reservation to be made. After trying to get through to reservations for 3 days with no success. I attempted again on Friday afternoon when I eventually managed to speak to a lady who very politely told me that they're fully booked. Surprisingly enough the deal has been extended to 15 December 2013 but even then I was rejected. I was then told by this lady to contact Groupon directly to sort it out as there's nothing she can do. Does the CPA / Ombudsman ever look into these matters or does somebody need to bring awareness?
