Groupon Sa

We purchased two 32GB Samsung Galaxy Tabs from Groupon, and received smaller 16GB units, one in a damaged box. Upon enquiring multiple times with Groupon about this issue, they firstly passed the buck, said that the supplier is at fault (I only ever dealt with, and paid, Groupon SA, never the 'supplier'), then offered us a measly R200 Groupon credits to make up for this blatant act of. We followed the internal complaints procedure from June 28th, 2013 to now, but only received excuses from one pseudo call centre agent to the next. We have escalated this matter to the Advertising Standards Authority, Consumer Protection Commissioner and South African Consumer Protection Union who are investigating a possible class action lawsuit against Groupon SA. The next step is to open a criminal case of against Groupon SA's Directors for allowing these activities to occur. For too long we have allowed suppliers to get away with a slap on the wrist - no more.
