On the 2 August I ordered an item from Groupon (laser hair removal kit). That weekend I discovered it was faulty and on the Monday reported it. They were very quick to collect the faulty item with the promise of a replacement.
by the 12 August I enquired and was told that the matter had been 'escalated'.
on the 22 August I enquired again as to where my replacement was, and I was told that it was already on its way to me (I have all of this in writing as we conversed via email)
On 9th September I again enquired and was told:
'Thank you for your email and my apologies for any trouble you have experienced.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused. The partner is currently inundated with calls and will attend to your query timeously.'
(note the word timeously- haha fat chance)
This was over a month ago and I still haven't heard a single thing from Groupon!!!
I've since seen different models of these lasers available on Groupon, and I feel that I should have been offered one of these instead if they are having trouble replacing mine.
The lack of communication is absolutely disgusting, and there has been no attempt to rectify my situation
