This is the SECOND issue I've had with Groupon trying to claim a refund for non deliverance of goods. I ordered a shelf unit that ran out of stock and was advised to contact their refunds department to claim my money back. After 3 emails I eventually recieved a reply stating I have to send them a proof of payment. How ridiculous? Do they not have a system to see that a payment has been made? This means I have to send them credit card statements which is an invasion of privacy. They are not a bank nor a financial services provider and they have no right to view my financial statements.
After many more queries to Groupon regarding this they have failed to reply to any more emails. It is clearly a way for them to ignore refunding my payment.
Groupon is a useless, useless organisation. I have cancelled all email subscriptions and will never be using their services again. They consumers money and have zero PR skills. DISGUSTING!!!
I will have no option but to resort to legal action to claim my money back.
