POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - NO REFUND

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY REGARDING ASSISTANCE WITH CUSTOMER CARE QUERIES.

My order of 2 bamboo breakfast trays for which a payment of R339.00 was deducted from my Absa account was delivered on 22 July 2013.

When I opened the package, I discovered 2 unvarnished pine trays with legs (no bamboo in sight) with white melamine tops - while my payment was for 2 bamboo trays with bamboo tops. In fact, the wood is of such poor quality that wood filler had been used in places. The legs are wobbly and the whole tray moves from side to side when you push against it. I e-mailed Groupon on 23 July 2013 for the first time. Since then, I have mailed them several times and called them 4 times.

Raen Germishuys Honey informed me that the complaint had been received and that I should take photos of the trays and mail them to her - which i did on 30 July. I had to call again on 2 August as no-one responded to my e-mail. I was told that they did receive the photos and have sent them to another department to investigate.

On 5 August I called again and Nasrudeen Matthews asked me to forward my banking details per e-mail for a refund. Payment would be made on 5 Aug. I've not heard from them since.
