I tried opening a Jet account online so I had no response than I decide to phone to ask them what is going so just find out that I can not open account as I have an existing Edgards from 1999 so I asked them to send me the details through regarding this account cause far I m aware I have it up to date so they give me details for the lawyers I phone them today and asked what I must do to sort this out they told me that this account was only given to them now and that I must go to Edgars to get a dispute form to fill in so that this matter can me sorted out so I phone the customer care and ask them and they told me that is account is arrears and I need to settle it before opening a new account. Why must I pay twice for something I only used once I paid the previous lawyers the full amount and never from them again. This account is on my maiden surname and I have been married almost 14 years now. I can not keep a paper trail for so long I throw my accounts away after 5 years. I know I have paid them. I checked on the credit breau and I m not listed for an Edgars account and I just opened a Foshni account and took a loan. Please can someone advise me regarding this matter.
