On Saturday I telephoned customer care to enquire what amount was due on my account and also the balance. Spoke to Ntando and Thomo. This account was opened by myself more than 30 years ago, before I got married. Imagine my shock and annoyance on being told that I did not have access to my OWN account! I have phoned in the past due to non delivery of post and always been given the information. I was informed that Edgars had changed the details - without my permission - and now had my husband's details on record? How they obtained this I do not know as he has never had an account at any clothing store. Is this not an infringement on his privacy and should be brought to the consumer protector? I would like to know where Edgars got this information as I am the official account holder and pay the account out of my own funds! Really disturbing if Edgars can just do what they like with our accounts! To date I have still not paid as I cannot get answers on my own account! HELP PSE!
