On the 4th of April 2013, last week Thursday around 2:30pm I went with my aunt to Shoprite to buy 4 shaving machines as well as a flat iron (for hair). Upon arriving at the till (till No.5) our cashier (I think her name was Annah) informed us that the flat iron had a one yr. guarantee of which she wrote the "one year" on the back of the till slip. I then asked her to write "one year GUARANTEE" because one year could mean anything, instead of writing what I'm asking her she starts arguing (in front of customers and a female security guard). After giving me a very dirty look (along with the female security guard standing next to her) she eventually writes the word GUARANTEE on the till slip. Just as I move away from the till she says "tjo what an attitude! " this she says quite loud and boldly in front of the other customers standing behind me, I then turn back and reply to her "you also have a very bad attitude for someone who needs my money to make a living" Am disgusted at this kind of service from Shoprite but not surprised as this is the kind of service and treatment they give to thier customers forgetting who pays thier paychecks at the end of the day.
