Exchange of PS3 game

I bought a R199-00 PS3 game from the Rivonia Blvd CNA branch on Tuesday 26th February as a birthday present for my girlfriends son. When I gave it to him in the evening he told me that he already had it. An honest mistake by me. No problem I told him, I would exchange it for another game. I checked my till slip and no-where does it state that this is not allowed. I have just returned from the same branch where I was told by the manager (Lerato Ngobeni) that it's CNA's 'policy' not to exchange games. I looked at my till slip again, looked at the games section and then looked around the till area and NOWHERE does it tell me that I may not exchange a game. I was also not told this when I bought the game (teller was Patience Nombinja). If i had, I would've checked if he had the game already. I asked nicely if they would exchange it for a game of the same value but I was looked at as if I was a packet of chips.

Look, if the till slip stated that exchanges are not allowed (like most stores have noted on their slips), then fine, I would've had to accept it. But no-where can I find this info in the store. So much for keeping a customer happy. Will not return to any CNA store anymore.
