On the 10/02/2013 an amount of R 3000.00 was paid in to my Russell's personal loans account after I had called in previously and was advised that the settlement is R 3945.46. I called the Capetown head office today and was advised that my bal is about R 4400.00 I was surprised and confused as I was expecting the pre payment to reduce the capital. The service I received was horrible as I was advised that they are unable to view my previous balance before the pre payment received. It was confirmed that the payment was received however no one was able to explain the reason that my bal increased instead of decreasing. I am now at home and I have a statement dated 07/01/2013 and the balance here reads R 4537.48. Can someone please explain how my balance is still over R 4000.00 when I paid R 3000.00. I feel like im being conned here as no one can explain or see my balance before payment. I need urgent assistance Im trying hard to pay off bills and im being robbed of the little money I have. I called the store for assistance they were of no help. The call centre agents in Capetown are rude and cannot explain a simple query. when asked for a statement they cnt help instead they hang up.
