I have installed a tracker unit on my car during January 2011.The subscription charge is a retrieve. Which I was told that upon installation the unit will be tested twice in a year and once tested communication will be fowarded to me through sms. Since I bought this car I have never received any sms regarding the test whether succesful or not. So I took it upon myself to call tracker every six months or a few months after to check if the unit is working perfectly. For every call that I make, tracker has never confirmed that the unit is tested succesfully. A technician will be send out to test it physically and provide me with a certificate. Now my issue is that during July 2012 I called as usual for another test. I was told that the unit was not tested succesfull, a technician has to be send to where the car is parked to test the unit. The technician came and told me that he replaced a certain part on the unit and is working succesfully now and provided me with a certificate. I called again on 30th April 2013, the technician advised me that the unit should be replaced and I need to pay R375.My question is for what since the car was not involved in an accident and who is supposed to account.
