We recently moved house and were obliged to use V&C as our conveyancers as per the seller's request.
We never get a response on any queries unless we beg, cc in the estate agent and another conveyancer that we've hired privately. We've had no advice on their side about the contract, how occupational rent works and how to transfer the rates bills. In addition to that we had no feedback about the transfer of the title deed for weeks, despite numerous efforts to get information, a simple, "we're working on it, apologies for the delay" would have sufficed. As a result we moved our moving date out.
I would recommend using any other conveyancer, this one has been a huge disappointment.
