I've been with Discovery for 2 years. It took about 5 days when I applied. This is what happened while I've for the past 2 months tried to get my mother onto Discovery Health Medical Aid:
Filled out a form as indicated on Discovery's website. A message popped up to say I will be contacted within 5 working days. NOBODY CONTACTS ME
I send an email to my consultant Adele Louw (Medxpert Consultant) to please pass my documents on to Discovery to assess as a new application for my mom. I get CC'd into a mail where Adele sent a mail to Discovery.
A week later, with no call from Discovery I sent an email to Adele asking what's going on with the application. NO RESPONSE FROM ADELE ANY FURTHER
I then go back on the website and submit a query email about all the above information. STILL NO REPLY
I call the helpline number on the website, hold for about 15 minutes and give up.
I am now past angry!!! If Discovery doesn't want my money, and doesn't want to take the application for a new member I'll gladly go to another Med Aid for my mom and in the process cancel MY membership with Discovery!!!
