I injured my back at the gym in December 2012 went to Hospital was refused to be admitted because of orders from the top not to take in people over the Christmas period. January 3, 2013 went to see the specialist as told by the staff at the hospital who had received the authorization for the Specialist. Account was not paid as according to Discovery Health Staff the authorization was for December and not January and the authorization was valued only for a month. Authorization was obtained on the 26 December 2012 so where is the month authorization if it is not even 10 days to the 3 January 2013. After paying for the Specialist appointment and letter from doctor as to accident and injuries operation was approved and paid. 4 weeks later I was in pain could not urinate, nerves system was gone had the shakes to such an extent I could not sit, stand, or use a pen. I was taken back to the specialist by family account not paid because permission was not given by Discovery Health. Discovery Health was again contacted by Specialist saying the operation was not done correctly and had to be done again. Discovery Health refused the 2nd operation. WHY???
