Customer service sadly lacking in Apple iStore

Whilst on holiday at Umhlanga and knowing I needed to renew my cell phone contract I called in at the above store. Firstly nobody seems interested in approaching customers to find out whether they can assist. After I approached the above person and explained my position and that I was on holiday. I wanted the Iphone 4 which was on contract on special with Vodacom. He explained they were out of stock but promised me he would call no later than Tuesday to advise whether he had managed to locate one for me. Not wanting to spend more than R200 pm this was the ideal way to go as my present cell phone is unable to get Whats App or Viber. Needless to say I heard nothing and had to waste time, during my holiday and go to the store myself. Maurice was not in but I did speak to a Nipun who followed up and did get back to me. Other customers were also annoyed at the lack of service at this store. I don't feel I can get the iPhone if this is the kind of service one gets! I am a pensioner and therefore need training... which I am now not sure the iStore would be interested to do.
