Last year on the 3rd July i bought a Tata Indigo for a friend from Cars@Ridgeway paid cash, i had to drive the car to East London on the same day and on the way noticed lot of faults with the car to which i called them the following day and even sent them an email detailing faults with the car. They had promised to send the registration papers to East London. When i asked them why they would not allow me to change ownership in EL they said they don't want to incur traffic fines in case i don't change ownership and this was the standard procedure with all dealers. Month went by without me receiving registration papers, i called them countless times and even went to our local consumer office, when called they promised to sent them. They never kept their word. Been having this car with no licence disc, no registration. The other time my friend was stopped by police and they ran the car through their system and it showed that it belonged to Cars@Ridgeway, they called Cars@Ridgeway and they confirmed that i bought the car from them, and it is still registered under them. Now the car has been impounded by police and traffics cops as it was parked on the side of the road in my township.
