General Motors South Africa
Must a enjin seize at 28 000 km on a factory fault

I bought myself n 2.5 Chevrolet Trailblazer in December and the engine seized 3 weeks ago on 28 000 kilometres. It took GM a week to come and fetch the car in Welkom to take it to the factory in PE. Under further investigation the factory told me the oil cooler rubbed against the chassis and chafed through and the oil and water mixed and then the engine seized. Now they want to put a new engine in the car on a factory fault. on 28 000 km I think they must replace the car for a new one. And if this happened with my car there must be more out there with the same factory fault.

These days you can not pay that kind of money for a vehicle and then the engine seize on 28 000 kilometers.

Really hope to get n respone on this email.
