2nd Smart Device Offe

I bank with FNB in a private capacity as well as hold my business account with them. I generally keep very little money in the personal account, but transfer enough to qualify for the highest Smart Device offer.

I got my first Smart Device in late 2011, which has now been paid for in full (iPad 2).

I got a 2nd Smart Device (iPhone 5) earlier this year (prior to the new 2nd Smart Device offer) and have paid regularly as expected.

I decided to take up the new 2nd Smart Device offer after receiving an SMS for it. I requested a Retina Macbook Pro 256GB SSD.

I have been declined due to unfavourable credit record, since when is this a requirement? And what about my history of always paying for the devices (even paying one in full?).

Does FNB not want my business anymore? I feel the treatment is not very good customer service considering the amount of money that flows through my business account.

Seriously unimpressed by this, and for the first time have considered moving to another bank.
