We were a group of 12 people camping at Warmbaths from the 20th until the 24th of September 2013. This getaway was booked long in advance and we couldn't wait for this few days of relaxation. The first two days of our stay we experienced cold and windy weather due to a cold front that was passing through. But on the third day the weather cleared and it was time for us to hit the pools and to soak up some sun! Little did we know what chaos was awaiting at the pool areas!!! The pool area was swarmed by thousands and thousands of day visitors!!! Schoolchildren!! Driven there by huge buses. We could not make use of the heated pool at all, there were just no space in it! The grass areas were overcrowded! So nowhere to sit! And then there was also a couple "guests" that swam in their underwear! TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: please don't allow day visitors over long-weekends/schoolhollidays. Rather make the guests, that generate income towards your resort's, stay a comfortable one. We support your Hydro, Spur, kiosks, shops etc etc... Surely these kids can be accommodated on a off-peak weekend. But with all that said... don't think we will return ;(
