I booked on line for my family to fly from OR Thambo to Dublin Ireland. Seating arrangements were booked online prior to the trip. Unfortunately I had to return with my son early and had to make changes to two of the tickets on the booking which cost R7000.
Air France proceeded to reallocate the seats randomly which means that my wife, traveling on the 3rd April 2013, with two minors is seated separately. I have been unable to change this online and phoned the call centre. The call centre has informed me that there is nothing that they can do and that my wife must request a change at check in. On my return flight I was informed at check in that they cannot change seating arrangements.
This leaves no alternative but for my wife to travel separately for my two minor children, which I feel is unacceptable.
