I travelled on emirates airline EK 841 on the 6/02/13 from durban to doha, via dubai and had a bad experience and when complained, no one got back to me. When i went to sit on my seat, the food tray was broken, i asked to be changed but they 1st tried to fix the seat, They moved me for take off, but when i went to the new seat, i discovered i was bleeding, had to be in the bathroom for takeoff--i went back to my seat and discoved a knife on it, I had been poked by a knife that was on the seat. I brought it to the attention of the staff and was only give a cleansing wife and a plaster.was so uncomfortable the whole flight and was just give a chocolate from first class. This is unacceptable behavior--i have written several email to emirates customer care, but no response. It could have been orst if a child was on that seat. I had terrible pains and bruising the whole week after. Emirates is a terrrible airline and i wont recommend them to anyone. Please use other airlines as if there is a problem, they do not help
