May 2012 paid R7770 to Oak Ministries for Israel Tour. October tour cancelled due to unrest, and applied for refund. Repayment would be 15 Nov 2012. Oak replied payment will be done by 30 Nov '12. 29 Nov mail stating payments will be done by 14 Dec'12. 3 Dec humbly apology still no payment, will be done before offices close for Xmas. 7 Jan 2013 had to confirm banking details again. 14 Jan '13 Mail stating re payment to take place 15 Jan '13. 20 Feb '13 Payments still in progress - struggling eith the company that is doing the refunds due to problems with SARS and Reserve Bank. One excuse on the other, and one promise after the other. 26 Feb '13 was the final mail stating that FINAL refunds will be 5 March 2013. thinking this is a "Christian Organisation" promises would be kept - but what a great dissapointment. After daily mails and many phone calls and bank statements expenses, we were always promised that the funds were ready and month after month just till date. I said I was going to see an attorney to write a letter, and they said it would be waste of money. Excuses and promises are not making ends meet. Investing R7770 for11 month interest free? Who took money?
