On 17 February 2013 while going through the KLM boarding check at the Schipol Airport for a flight to Jhb, I forgot two Apple iPads at the boarding gate. I reported the matter to the KLM flight attendants who verified that the iPads were found and safe but could not be brought onto the flight as the flight wax ready for take off. The KLM staff agreed to make arrangements to send the iPads with the next flight to Johannesburg on 18 February 2013.
Once we landed at the O R Tambo airport JHB, the KLM baggage office was consulted where a gentleman by the name of Joe confirmed that the message had been received from the Schipol KLM staff confirming that the Ipads were in their possession. We were issued with a reference number and told that we would be called to come collect the iPads from the O.R. Tambo KLM office once the iPads had been received.
Today the 22nd of February the KLM office in Johannesburg was consulted as no call had been received from them to date. The staff at the KLM O R Tambo office told us that they do not know where the iPads were and that we should communicated directly with the Schiphol Lost and Found office. They say they do not know about the iPads
