Booked a unit for June. Did not pay yet because we were under the impression that payment could be made just before occupying the unit booked. Received an email stating that we are in arrears and interest of 16% will be charged for every month you are in arrears and if payment is not made within 24hrs, they (flexiclub) will cancell the reservation and we, the members must pay a cancellation fee of R365.When we made the booking, no one informed us that we had to pay the accommodation fee 48hrs after booking had been made. if we had know that, we would've done so. Phoned accounts and the lady said that flexiclub is an investment and they have been lenient towards us for not making the payment yet. When i told her nobody told us about the 48hrs payment policy, she had the audacity to tell me that my husband had been told. i told her no we were not informed and she asks me if i were there when he maid the booking. Firstly, Flexiclub is not an investment to me anymore. We have been on other holidays through Flexiclub and no one informed us about payment to be made 48hrs after booking. this is the first time we received such information. the accounts dept wasn't very helpfull as well.
