I was called last year as I was "selected to receive a free holiday voucher" which needed to be collected with my partner. We went on a day where I was very ill and we actually had to go to a wedding. When we got there, we had to sit through a presentation on time share before we could collect the voucher. We collected without even talking to our "consultant" because we were already made to go there under false pretences. I booked for the holiday due March, however due to unforseen circumstances we cannot get to the resort & I sent a mail on the 29th Jan explaining this & asked can we move it to a resort closer to home. I shouldn't have bothered- it takes them about 4 days to reply, they tell you terms & conditions not stated anywhere & now after a whole thread of emails, have reverted back to pretending they don't know what I am talking about. What a waste of time and effort.
