I reserved and paid for a room at the Southcliff Guesthouse on 25/1/2013 for Easter weekend, i did so well ahead of time due to it being Easter weekend and places fill up quickly.
Yesterday 12/2/2013 i am notified that I can no longer be accommodated. I was not given a reason for cancellation of my booking or any form of an apology.
I just feel had I been the one to cancel the booking I would forfeit a percentage of my deposit, yet they can cancel my reservation at a whim and i have to " it up" - it is now costing me more to secure a booking elsewhere and less rooms are available now that it is 3 weeks closer to Easter weekend.
I am not expecting any compensation as it is evident that their attitude to begin with, I would just strongly advise prospective guests to think twice about booking with them. Clearly "hospitality" is not their forte
