Inappropriate marketing gimmicks

I am writing this on behalf of Mrs. Haijera Bantham:
GTASA contacted me over 5 times to say that I had won a prize, I went to their offices on the 15 August 2012 - no prize was awaiting me but instead I was forced into signing a contract amounting to R16 000. I paid a deposit of R5229. 3 days later I phoned the Head Offices and spoke to YOLANDI SMIT requesting a cancellation. I was then informed to put the cancellation in writing and sent it though on the same day to [Email Removed] A week later I phoned to confirm the receipt and Yolandi gave me the run around and said the letter should be sent to [Email Removed] ( I sent the same day on the 30/09/2012). I was told it was not received (how convenient). I was then informed to fill out a "standard" GTSA cancellation letter received on the 05/10/2012 in which I was informed that I have to pay the cancellation fee of R1621.50 by the 30/10/2012 (A MONTH LATER FROM THE DAY THAT I ORIGINALLY CANCELLED). I refuse to pay the cancellation fee as I informed GTSA 3 days from the original transaction date - they delayed the cancellation for a month so that I can pay the fee. I feel I was coerced to join and now bullied into paying.
