I had a flight booked from Cape Town to Johannesburg. Upon arrival at the check in counter 45 min before the sceduled departure, I was informed the flight was over booked and that they would accomodate me on a new flight and should arrange this at the sales counter.
The sales counter subsequently sent me back to the check in counter where I was then told that check in was now closed and that I had "missed my flight" since it was now less than 30min before departure, but this was not the case when I had initially tried to check in and was only because I was waiting for Kululas response to the over booking situation. At this point Kulula now denied that the flight was over booked even though this was the reason for the issue in the first place
After the incident I was just met with extremely unhelpful and rude supervisior and was eventually forced to purchase a new ticket as well incur all the additional costs of staying in Cape Town for an extra day.
I cannot believe the level of service I recieved considering the issue was Kululas fault to start with.
