Every year I battle to get reservations through THC.We paid R90k for the Platinum Membership in 2008 & pay about R10k in levies every year. We chose this package as we were told that we would get preferential treatment when it came to making reservations..what a load of nonsense! I have been trying to get into Sun City every year & can never get a reservation, & every year I try once the points are available for bookings. I tried again this year in Aug & was told that the points for Sun City would only be released in Dec. I tried in Dec & was told that the points for Sun City would only be released in Jan. I tried again today, once again same story. I was then told that I could pay cash for The Kingdom, which is more expensive to book for a weekend than The Sun City Vacation Club I find this completely unacceptable & insulting, considering that we have already paid cash for our "so called" Holiday Club points. We are told that our points will be expiring but we can never use our points as there is nothing available. If only I knew what I know today, I would have NEVER invested in or wasted my money on THC. I am extremely disappointed with their service!
