I took a bus on Voortrekker road this morning labelled "Blouberg" it had the number 150 or 160 on the back, it was around 8:07am. I was heading to Summer greens and when I got onto the bus I gave the driver a R50, he ignored me while he was driving the all of a sudden pulled over quite some distance from where I got on and instructed me to get off as he had no change. I actually thought he was joking as he did not even look me in the face when he was talking to me, he just said get off I don't have change. I was honestly shocked as I do not take the bus that often to be told to get off. Do these people not have cash given to them at the beginning of their shifts?? I have never had to get off a taxi before for that reason no matter what time I take one. Funny thing is I then took a shuttle when I eventually arrived in Summer Greens and tried to pay with the same R50 and the driver did not even flinch when giving me my change... ON AN EMPTY SHUTTLE THAT COST R4... I think Golden Arrow is shocking if thats how they deal with clients, its disgusting. I cannot wait for my citi to start operating all over cape town.
