This morning we were driving from Melkbos to Blouberg strand on the old Otto Du Plessis road along the beach road. The Golden Arrow bus 4067 was driving behind me getting very close to me. I am now speeding up to about almost 90 km per hour in a 70 zone to put some distance between me and the bus. Still the bus came even closer to me, about 2-3 meters from us. What happened next is out of this world. I slightly touched the brakes to show the driver that i was slowing down. That helped nothing, the driver now decided to over take us. I was now speeding way over a 100 km per hour to get away from this kamikaze driver.
(1) I was under the impression there is a speed limit for buses on the road, which is supposed to be 70kph on this road?
(2) What about following distance, or does that not apply to golden arrow?
(3) Your drivers is playing with peoples lives. I take this very seriously as i value life.
Somebody needs to start taking control over these Golden Arrow drivers. Enough is enough!!!
