I mailed the manager Tanja Benjamin to get stopover of 8 hours or more in Dubai when returning she booked the stopover of 8 hours in Dubai for which I paid.when I checked on emirates later found 20 hour stop over as well which she did not mentioned. I couldn't get hold of her for next 2 days was told by another consultant Brenda that she'll call me. Eventually got hold of Tanja 2 days later on Monday & she was very abrupt & kept interrupting me when trying to explain the situation, as per her I only said in my email for 8 hours stopover & I will have to pay a penalty of R2000 to make any changes. I know that Emirates only charges R500 to make any changes. She was also supposed to send Dubai accommodation quote. I logged a complaint with their customer feedback and to Angie Bridger who apparently deals with all the customer complains on 30th September but till 2day I have not received any response from anyone regarding the complaint. They never return your calls if you leave messages. Emirates say have to deal with the agent.
I have been warning people that I know are booking their tickets to stay away from Flight centre & Plan to carry on informing others via print & visual media
