We wanted to book accommodation in Durban for the December holidays. We used Travelground to make the booking at Ibis Lodge, but saw some complaints on the website of Travelground. I phoned Jeanette, the owner of Ibis Lodge, and enquired into the complaints. Immediately thereafter I received the following message from travelground:
Good day,
I just received a call from this establishment and they say that your husband called them and they said that he saw 3 reviews on TravelGround that their establishment is dirty.
They feel quite offended now and they do not feel that they would like to accommodate you anymore.
I do realise that there are infact those reviews on Trip Advisor but if the establishment does not want to accommodate you then there is unfortunately not much I can do about it.
I do apologise for the inconvenience. Would you like me to source alternative accommodation for you?
