My husband and I were sold a holiday package in 2009 on our honeymoon. We were to pay an additional R 5000 to start the purchase of our points, when it came down to that, as a new couple we did not have the funds to do so, and decided to give it up even though we had already paid R 4000.
This year 2013, i was contacted by a lady Sharlene to reactivate this purchase. i had many concerns in doing this as i did explain to her that cash is a problem for us, i have a 3 year old daughter and a new born on the way.
Sharlene went on to assure me that it will only cost us R 500 a month and a once off fee of R 5000.
We then later agreed and went on to reactivate. about a week or two ago another lady called to send us our welcome package and ran though the payments with me, to my surprise she explained the R 5000 would be a yearly cost.
I have been in contact with Sharlene 3 times to explain that we can not afford that with a new born on the way etc. Sharlene replied once saying she would get back to me and till today nothing! it makes me sick how sales people are easy to call and follow up to get that cash in but once there is a problem there is no reply!!
