I write this email in sheer desperation and after a dozen phone calls, I am not sure what to do anymore.
Reason:
I had redeemed 12 000 miles for car hire in late March which will expire end June. I cannot redeem this award.
Trail of events:
oI was not aware and did not read on the website that I had to first call Europcar before redeeming award and redeemed 12 000 miles for the group car before 31 March 2013. This equated to 2 days car hire.
oI called Europcar to firm up on my booking and they had told me that car hire I selected (6 000 miles per day) is no longer available and now this will cost 9 000 miles.
oI had called back to the Voyager call centre more than half a dozen times and tired now!!!
oThe award certificate expires on 30 June 2013
oThe call centre staff each time tell me they will get back to me - they were going to ask Europcar to honour the deal else I requested to reverse the miles in my account
oI even was given the details for the supervisor - Tshepo. He was supposed to call me back but never did
oI risk losing all my miles now and not sure what else to do
Please provide a quick solution and direct me to the right level since I am tired of calling
