After a long day at work, I head to the bus stop-hoping to catch the next available Naledi bus-. After waiting for a duration of about 20 minutes, one Putco bus finally makes its way to the bus stop in Woodmead. Before we embarked on the bus, myself and a couple of other commuters asked the bus driver the Destination of the bus, who in turn directed the same question to us. We then told him that we were going to Naledi- he asked whether we were going to pay in cash some of us nodded, we hop into the bus and before making our way to be seated we pay an amount of R23.00 each and those that had tags made use of their tags. The bus took off, when got to Wynburg, the driver abrubtly tells us to to get off as he is no longer going to naledi- in contrary to what he had told us In Woodmead. It was a problem for everyone who paid in cash including myself as the driver refused to give our monies back. He threatened and forcefuly me from the bus and the took off, leaving us stranded in the dark. I have taken further action against this bully and would like to see PUTCO play its part in having this heartless driver pay for what he did.
