I reported that a Telkom Technician repaired the telephone line disconnected the alarm. He reconnected it wrongly after repairs causing a faulty alarm system. The alarm Technician had to be called to rebuild the alarm system. Telkom not only refuses to pay, they also answered totally nonsense that their Technician handled right in not touching the alarm system (but he did) etc. It appears they just send me any answer of their anser list without any connection to my complaint. And, yes, I must phone their legal office if I feel like it. The answer came 10 days after the complaint. I escalated the issue without having received an answer from Telkom for 3 weeks now.
Can somebody advise how to claim the money for the damage (repair fees) from Telkom? Do they react when I take them to small claims court?
I find the behaviour and attidute unbelievable. But, well, that's what one expect from them. In private life they would not exist any more as they lost touch with customers. It is sad that they can do what they want but obvously they do not have competition (yet). First chance and I will leave Telkom forever......
Any advise would be appreciated.
