Telkom lack of care and service

I called Telkom to enquire about their Diginet service but also to find out about their other Internet services as I want to upgrade. I spoke to the obligatory call center agent who gave me a reference number and I requested that they send me email details first to peruse. The agent said that she would put this on the system and that I would be contacted within 48 hours. 5 days later no email. I called again and spoke to another agent who said that she would escalate this and report it to a 'manager'. She also put me in touch with someone called Johannes Tau, whom I called. He said that he would refer this onto someone called Neil who is an internet/business specialist. He also said that Neil would call me back the same day. After a week on hearing nothing I called Mr Tau who said that he would report this to his 'manager'. It is now 3 days later and I've still heard nothing. This has got to be the most apathetic lack of service that I have ever encountered. If there was an alternative to Telkom I would without hesitation use it. They obviously don't need my business!!!
