Despite reporting my phone line and ADSL down on 04 04 2013 a Telkom technician has still not attended to the matter. I have tried on repeated occasions to escalate the problem as outlined in Telkoms code of practiice. However, on each occasion that I have called, I have been told by the call centre that the call centre manager is away (on training???) and therefore there is no one who can resolve my problem other than to send an email to the technical dept. This is clearly a flawed and grossly inefficient system as a week later, I still do not have a working telephone and the technical department is clearly not doing their job. It is unreasonable that my phone is still not working a week after having first reported the problem. Even more frustrating is that I am unable to speak to anyone in authority to resolve my problem and the call centre are unable to contact the technical department. Ref NO 260CRK040413
