Terrible Service

My wife changed her service providor to Cell C on Saturday. We ported her number from Vodacom. The sms was immediate and the Vodacom phone was disabled very shortly after. We found it funny that the Cell C was not active yet. Despite calling and calling nothing happened. Eventually she had to drive to the store to swap her sim card because, according to them it was faulty. After another 2 hours there on Sunday and the sim swap there was still no service. They apparently logged a trunk something or other and assured that it would be working today. Still nothing. Spoke to the store manager and 'followed' up with head office. Still nothing. Called the call centre and was on hold for hours. Still nothing. They are all untrained and unable to deal with issues like this. Both at store and head office level. Doesn't help us - we still have no cell phone that works. Why disconnect our Vodacom phone until the Cell C is active?? Totally useless and not the first time I have had issues with.
