POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I went to the MTN store in Kenilworth to purchase a contract for a laptop, already having had a cellphone contract with the supplier. I was informed by the lady that I needed 2 forms of identification, which I did not have as I only had a passport. I found this strange since I already had an active contract, but anyway, I proceedee to get a Discover card, which I used. After a brief period of processing I was informed that the laptop was now out of stock. I asked the lady at the counter if this was true for all MTN branches and the lady told me that the laptops were out of stock at the warehouse and therefore this applied to all MTN branches, and that they had no clue when they would have them in stock. After going back to the store three consecutive weeks, I was informed the same thing. Then out of frustration, I just decided to try another MTN branch. I went to MTN Claremont. The lady who assisted me was very helpful and made a couple of calls around thr MTN stores. She informed me that the MTN store in Observatory had three laptops left and the one in Parklands had one. I went to the store in Observatory and I was assisted within 5 minutes by a friendly lady and got the deal.
