Unexpected Pleasure

While shopping at my local Checkers store, I happened to bump into a lady wearing a Telkom branded shirt with her name tag still on... very brave I must say, after all the grief I have been having with Telkom. She was so polite and courteous and took her personal time out to hear me vent about my issues with the company she worked for. My land line and DSL line was down for over a month and I had no joy with the call centre or the technical dept and all it took was that meeting and the next day I received a phone call from Denise, who personally undertook the restoration of my line. She kept on calling me with feedback on how far the technical department was, with my fault. My line was restored the same day. I feel if i had not met her i would not have had my Telkom service restored and i would have moved to another service provider, which i was seriously considering. So well done Telkom for having a DENISE, that takes time out of her personal time and after hours too to help a stranger. My faith is almost restored with staff like her around.
