I have unsuccessfully been trying to cancel my Telkom line on various occasions.
On 18 March I phoned in and was told I have to give 30 days notice to cancel although I never signed an agreement/ contract and this policy was changed without my knowledge. I was told I would be contacted and the consultant didn't want to give me a reference.
On 19 March I phoned again and was also told I need to give notice. I was however given a reference number.
I am going to take this matter up with the consumer commission if my Telkom line is not cancelled with immediate effect.
I will not be bullied into paying for 30 days notice if I didn't sign an agreement stating so.
