Tablet & Call Centre Issue

I ordered a Samsung Tablet via Direct Sales channel and received it on the 6th of March.
The sim card received with it is still not activated so I am using a different Vodacom one for the time being.
3G and wireless reception are non-existant... all settings are correct as I have a Galaxy s3 next to it which is working 100%!

I went to Vodacom Customer Care at Canal Walk and according to them I ahve to work via the Call Centre regarding my issue as it was a direct sale and they cannot help.

Trying to get hold of the call centre on 0821950 is a nightmare. I have bene holding twice now for an hour and still no consultant to speak to. The device will be out of the return policy by tomorrow and I cannot get hold of anyone to help me.

Can someone from Vodacom please contact me urgently regarding this issue!
