On the 28/02/2013, I received a messages advising me that I subscribed to a service for R7/day, I immediately send a stop message to the number given. I recharged on the 27/02/2013 with R50.00 and when I checked this week the balance was R3. I called the Cell C call centre, they advised that I subscribed to the service and was amazed that she was aware when you send stop messages they still activate the subscription. The company involved is called Opera Interactive and they never answer their phones. I spoke to Lerato at Cell C who was not willing to help and who accused me of spending 52.00 surfing the web, strange when I recharged for R50.00 only. I spoke Jannelle Lottering at the CEO's office who said that there nothing they could do, even when she agreed that they receive a percentage of the R7.00. It seems that Cell C is aware of this unethical behavior by companies using their network. The only solution and Janelle agree's that I continue to pay the the R7.00, until I can get hold of opera interactive or change my number. The fact is that the company is using your network and you derive income from it, so accept some responsibility for their actions or ban them.
