I have never experience such poor service. My friend came to SA fresh from the UK and could not open an account. Vodacom in returned said that i can add him to my account and the 3 months later when he can produce 3months bank statements we'll be able to transfer the account into his name.

When the time came to do the transfer he had to unfortunately return to the UK. He then did a migration to a lower tariff so that one of his work colleagues could take over the account from myself/him. He had to pay a migration fee of R2500 to vodacom. This all took place on the 28th of Feb. I in return took on a iphone and wanted to transfer to a Smart standard packages which allows me to pay R390 a month.

I asked Harold if this will then be the only amount that will reflect on my account in March and he answered yes in acknowledgement. Come the first of March they subtracted the 2 x Phone contracts from my account. After we have done the migration, paid the migration amount. It took me a whole month to get to the bottom of this mistake and it is still not sorted out. Came April, they double billed me for the new contract. So i am now R900 out of pocket. I am very disheartened.
