I called in to find out why my latest statement was so high when I had requested my limit be reduced and remain at R100 over the R200, my first call I was on hold until I requested a call back from one of the options, I called in again and I spoke to Leandri, whom I asked to send me a detailed statement which she said she will send me my itemized billing at a cost of R24, she mentioned that I had been locked according to their system but MTN did not lock my system, said MTN was at fault. She went on to inform me that I had already exceeded my limit by over R700, I could not understand, I had not received a message to notify me. She then said it was a technical error from the technical department and I will get feedback on this error, which I have not received to this date. It was on the 12/02/2013 when I spoke to Leandri initially. She also mentioned how in future it would be advisable to switch of my phone and remove sim card and divert my calls, said MTN was at fault with this error as they did not cut the connection, which MTN denied and reversed the blame to Nashua. I then asked Leandri to lock the phone as i was still incurring costs. i think it was neglect. I await feedback.
