INCORRECT ADVICE WITH UNRESOLVED QUERY

I applied for a straight up 400 contract on 20 December 2012.I specifically asked the sales person regarding the BSE that was included in the contract. I asked her regarding the feature, what I could do etc and she explained to me that is was similar to the BIS. That is what I then understood.

Subsequently I was unable to use the BBM feature on the phone. I phoned the Cell C call centre and they told me my BIS was not activated yet. During January I still had the same problem and the call centre told me the same thing. They told me the branch was supposed to activate my BIS and if the call center did it there would be an additional R57 charge on my account. I then lodged a formal query on 31 January 2013 as I was informed that my account was debited with a charge of R1500.00 for downloads because my BIS was not activated.

I went to the branch and also lodged a complaint there. I was told it would be attended too. Three days later I go back and nothing was done yet. The advice I got at the time of taking the contract was also wrong.

To date I received no feedback from Cell C regarding my query.
