Internet Account closed - who and why?

After no internet service since the afternoon of 15/02/2013, we leaned today that our internet account at Telkom was closed. No such request was made to Telkom at ANY time. How on earth does this happen???
The impact of the error is:
1. BAD customer service
2. Unnecessary frustration
3. Wasting of valuable time to sort out the mess and
4. Loosing ALL our e-mails as our e-mail account was cleaned when the account was closed.
ONCE AGAIN - PATHETIC TELKOM!!!
Telkom is not honouring our agreement, charging ridiculous service fees for poor service - just because they have the monopoly in this country and they can!
If any costs arise from activating our internet service and our telkom e-mail account somebody will seriously have to convince me that this is not a money making scheme!!!
